The Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism was established by integrating the functions of the former Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and the former Zhejiang Provincial Tourism Bureau. The former Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau was changed to be a part of and be administrated by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism. Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Zhejiang Provincial Tourism Bureau no longer exist.
