Chinese Seafood Cultural Festival

Zhoushan Archipelago is located in the center area of one of the world's four major fishing grounds - the East China Sea Fishing Ground. Known as the "Chinese Fishing Capital", it’s rich in over a thousand types of seafood including fish, shrimp, shellfish and algae. Perfectly combining seafood with food cultures, every seafood cultural festival will be an unprecedented galaxy of seafood. During the festival, there will be Seafood Dinner Competition, Seafood Forum and Fisherman’s Art Performances, Night Seafood Stalls, Zhoushan Specialty Seafood sales, Seafood snacks and so on.

China Zhoushan International Sand Sculpture Festival

It adopts the combination of competition and display. Each festival will set a theme, based on which the players show their unique skills.

The main activities are sand sculpture competitions of international group, domestic group and amateurs, sand sculpture show, opening ceremony and so on. To enrich its activity contents, it also offers the sightseeing tours of Zhujiajian National Ecological Park and Putuo Mountain Worship Ceremony, sand sculpture photography, essay contest, beach soccer game, maritime sports performances, fashion swimsuit shows and other activities. What’s more, float parades, the island featured art performances and delicious seafood are waiting for you.

China Putuo Mountain South China Sea Kwanyin Culture Festival

It’s one of the three major tourist festival ceremonies in Zhoushan. Based on the profound Kwanyin culture of the Putuo Mountain, it has become a Buddhist tourism event which aims at promoting the Kwanyin culture and creating famous cultural mountains.
