Introduction

Dapan Mountain Medicinal Botanic Garden is located in the east of the Dapan Mountain National Natural Conservation Area which is the only national natural conservation area targeting medicinal germplasm resources. According to the statistics, there are 1219 types of plants in total, including “Five Medicinal Materials in Pan’an” which contains atractylodes macrocephala, corydalis turtschaninovii Bess. f. yahusuo Y. H. Chou et C. C. Hsu, fritillary, radix scrophulariae,  and cynanchum otophyllum. These five medicinal materials are also listed in the famous “Eight Medicinal Materials in Zhejiang” and make Zhejiang be the biggest medicinal material production area in Zhejiang and the Chinese Medicinal Material Scientific Base for universities of traditional Chinese medicine and normal universities.
