Introduction

Tongling Mountain National Forest Park, located in the Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, is a comprehensive forest park for natural landscape, forest adventure, leisure vacation, exercise and rehabilitation, and scientific research. It is also a National AAAA Level Tourist Area, a National Key Scenic Area, and one of the first group of “Five-star Forest Tourism Areas,” “Civilized Forest Parks,” “Ecotourism Demonstration Areas” of Zhejiang Province. And 98.1 percent of the area is covered by trees.

The park has been divided into three parts –Tongling Gorge, Little Yaochi Lake, Tongling Village. It is characterized by dense forests, deep gorges, grotesque caverns and translucent lakes. In particular, the most notable landscape is the “pothole” that is rotated by rapid torrent in the gorge of Tongling Mountain. It has a reputation of “the Best of China”. The unique nature landscape and original ecological environment makes the park an ideal tourist resort.

Tongling Gorge is 500 meters long. It forms a wonder of the world with grotesque pothole ponds of different sizes. Little Yaochi Lake mirrors the blue sky, green trees and colorful flowers, making a fairyland for tourists. Tongling Village is built in the strategic place with three surfaces facing cliffs, in which you can appreciate the abundant nature landscapes such as spectacular waterfalls, heavy clouds, grotesque rocks and so on, and the old human landscapes of ancient villages. And the most magnificent landscape in the village is Baishuiji Waterfall.
