Day 1 Essential Hangzhou Day Tour

West Lake
West Lake has an area of 5.6 square kilometers (2.2 square miles) and is the symbol of Hangzhou – a city which lies on the lake’s tranquil banks. From the boat you can see “Three Pools Mirroring the Moon” – one of the “Top Ten Views of West Lake”. The occasional pagoda and Chinese-style arched bridges add a splash of color to the verdant tree-lined walkways, islands and hills – making the West Lake a very special part of any China experience.

Lingyin Temple
Lingyin Temple is one of the Top Ten Ancient Buddhist Temples in China. It also houses various Buddhist manuscripts and treasures and is famous for its more than 470 stone carvings of Buddhist figures which date from the 10th to the 14th centuries.

Meijiawu Tea Plantation
It is seated within the vicinity of the West Lake Scenic Area and boasts one of China’s most important tea productions. Surrounded by nature, here you can enjoy the special tea culture and taste the fragrant aroma and all whilst appreciating the beautiful village scenery.
