Water Village Tour at Xitang
Xitang is a living ancient town with history of more than 1000 years. The whole old town is like a poem and a picture. There, people will feel that they are seemingly in an earthly paradise. Through a bird-eye view of the whole town, green waves ripple everywhere and every family resides near water. It is Xitang waiting for your visit.
This morning, you will be picked up at your hotel in downtown Hangzhou and then be driven to Xitang.
Upon arrival, you will begin your tour in Xitang water village which are well-preserved groups of buildings of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) with relatively high artistic quality and research value. It is famous for its large number of covered corridors, lanes and bridges. Here you can pay a visit at Zhang zheng Root Carving Museum, Brick and Tile Display Hall, Ni House, Sanctuary, Tangdong Street, Yellow Rice Wine Display Hall.
Taste Chinese lunch at local restaurant at 12:45PM.In the afternoon, continue to visit at Misty Rain Long Corridor, Drunk Garden, Shipi Lane, Zhongfu Hall, West Garden and Button Museum. Enjoy a boat tour before leaving the town. After that, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Hangzhou.
